Our PreKindergarten Classrooms serve children from 4-6, their year before Kindergarten.
Welcome to our Pre-kindergarten Classroom
Pre-Kindergarten Classrooms have up to 24 children with 3 teacher teams. The classrooms range from 4-6 years. This classroom is specific for children that are in their final year before entering Kindergarten in their elementary school.

Kindergarten Readiness
The children’s routines, activities, expectations and general rules will begin to reflect that of the kindergarten classroom. The students are still given choices, exploration and inquiry into the themes and concepts of the Experience Curriculum. The teachers are there to help the children understand the higher expectations of this age group and skills they will need after graduation. We have parents report that their children were above and beyond what they needed to be when they went into kindergarten the following year!
Social Emotional Education
If a child can express their needs and feelings, make friends and feel confident in a group setting, we see so much success on the academic level. Our Pre-K teachers have many opportunities to train around different social emotional curriculums. The teachers will work with the students to be able to understand and vocalize their needs and feelings.
Academics through Play
Children at this age still need to play, explore and experience learning in an environment that allows for movement and social play. The teachers and Experience Curriculum combine wonderful opportunities to play with friends and materials while using inquiry to learn new academic concepts.
